musculoskeletal disorders are caused or made worse by the work environment. They can cause severe, often debilitating symptoms
such as pain, numbness and tingling. They can also reduce worker productivity by causing missed time from work, varying degrees
of disability and increased Workers’ Compensation costs.
Forceful, prolonged or repetitive motions, frequent or heavy lifting,
moving or carrying heavy objects and awkward postures can all contribute to work injuries. Work conditions that combine these
